The UNT Dallas Library is proud to present the 2016 Films Directed by Women Virtual Film Festival. The festival gives you an opportunity to explore the diverse body of work produced by female directors during the history of cinema.
It is a lack of opportunity not talent that bars many deserving female filmmakers from adding their voices to the global cinema conversation. We hope that this virtual film festival will raise your awareness of the many excellent films that have been made and a hint to the films that could be produced in the future if society opens opportunities to a more diverse field of artists, storytellers, and directors.
All members of the UNT Dallas community can enjoy the film festival by clicking on the following link. http://bit.ly/WomenFilmFest16
